Terms & Conditions

Leona’s Creation offers original artworks, commissioned pieces, and fine art prints. Each artwork is individually crafted and one-of-a-kind. Please note that slight variations in color, texture, and appearance are inherent to the artistic process and contribute to the uniqueness of every piece.

Deposits & Commission / Payments

Custom orders are encouraged to begin with a consultation to ensure a clear understanding of your vision and approval prior to payment. Clients who submit a deposit without prior consultation or detailed project specifications risk potential delays or declination of service.

Prices are listed on our website, or a formal custom quote may be provided upon request. A deposit is required to secure all commissioned work before the project begins. Unless the artist provides written notice of a scheduled start date, all commissioned artwork is considered in progress twenty-four (24) hours after the deposit payment has been received.

Invoices will be issued upon completion of the service if the full balance has not been paid before or during production. The remaining balance is due by the date specified on the invoice, prior to delivery. Late payments may result in delayed delivery or cancellation of service if payment is not received by the stated due date.

Estimated completion timelines are provided as a courtesy and are not guaranteed. Clients are entitled to two (2) minor revisions during the draft stage. Additional revisions beyond this limit may incur extra fees. Once final approval is granted, no further changes can be made.

For purchases of prints or premade original artworks, full payment is required before the order is processed and fulfilled.

Rights & Ownership

All artwork remains the intellectual property of Leona’s Creation Gallery unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
Clients are granted the right to display and enjoy purchased artwork for personal use only.
Commercial use—including reproduction, distribution, or modification—requires a separate licensing agreement and written permission from the artist.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Refunds may take 5–10 business days to appear on your bank statement once processed.

Deposits for custom commissions are non-refundable, unless the artist declines the service prior to starting or you cancel within twenty-four (24) hours of receiving the deposit payment.

Cancellations made by the client before work has begun may be eligible for a partial refund if payment made exceeds the deposit amount. This determination is made at the artist’s discretion. Once work has commenced, no refunds will be issued.

Refunds for shipped artwork are available only if the incorrect item was received and returned using the provided return shipping label.

Legitimate Grounds for Artist-Initiated Cancellation

While every effort is made to ensure a positive and professional experience, Leona’s Creation Gallery reserves the right to cancel a commission under the following circumstances:

Change in Scope

If the client makes continuous or excessive alteration requests that extend beyond the original agreement, the artist may cancel the commission.
The artist reserves the right to enforce a two (2) revision limit as stated in the contract.
If the client cannot provide sufficient references, conceptual clarity, or defined expectations, the artist must be granted reasonable to full creative freedom to interpret and execute the artwork in their own style. Failure to allow such freedom may result in termination of the project to prevent an unsatisfactory outcome for either party.

Creative Differences

If the artist’s creative direction and the client’s vision become fundamentally incompatible and cannot be resolved through discussion, the artist may terminate the project.
A partial refund may be issued at the artist’s discretion, based on work completed.

Unprofessional Conduct

The artist reserves the right to cancel a project if the client engages in disrespectful, harassing, or overly controlling behavior that disrupts the creative process or professional environment. Refunds will be determined based on the project’s stage at the time of termination.

Force Majeure

The artist is not liable for delays or cancellations resulting from circumstances beyond their control, such as illness, injury, family emergencies, natural disasters, or other unforeseen events. Should such circumstances arise, the client will be notified promptly, and options for refund or rescheduling will be offered.

Artistic Incompatibility

If the requested project falls outside the artist’s stylistic approach or technical expertise, the artist may terminate the agreement to preserve the professional standards and artistic integrity of Leona’s Creation Gallery.

Legitimate Grounds for Client-Initiated Cancellation

Leona’s Creation Gallery recognizes that unforeseen circumstances or legitimate concerns may arise. A client may cancel a commission under the following conditions:

Force Majeure

If uncontrollable events—such as natural disasters, government mandates, or civil unrest—make it impossible to fulfill the agreement, the client may cancel. Refund eligibility will depend on the stage of project completion.

Dissatisfaction with Work-in-Progress

If the artwork significantly deviates from the approved concept during a review stage, the client may request cancellation. Deposits or rejection fees may be retained to cover time, materials, and creative labor already invested.

Unforeseen Financial Hardship

In the event of verified financial hardship, the client may cancel their commission. The non-refundable deposit will remain with the artist to offset preparation costs, while any remaining balance may be waived at the artist’s discretion.

Artist Misconduct or Breach

If the artist fails to meet agreed-upon deadlines without communication or otherwise breaches contract terms (e.g., unresponsiveness or failure to perform duties), the client reserves the right to terminate the agreement and may request a refund proportionate to the work completed.

Grace Period Cancellation

Clients are entitled to a 24-hour grace period following their deposit to withdraw from the agreement for a full refund, provided work has not yet begun. After this period, deposits are non-refundable.
